Teddy Horangic

Teddy Horangic is a current Yale undergrad interested in environmental economics and sustainable entrepreneurship. She took a gap year before college to start a green energy and carbon capture company, developing a solution that converts residential waste into electricity and biochar. This work brought her into the orbit of the Carbon Containment Lab, where she looks forward to contributing and building on her knowledge of carbon capture techno-economics.

At Yale, Teddy is on the Varsity Sailing Team, and is a jazz singer who performs with her band in New Haven and NYC. She is working with Professor Kenneth Gillingham (YSE, Economics Dept) researching the impact that energy efficiency regulations have on NYC buildings.
