Isabella Akker serves as a Project Manager at the Carbon Containment Lab.
Isabella has eight years of experience in clean energy, management consulting, and international development, including work experience in India, Brazil, Switzerland, Haiti, and Cote d’Ivoire. Prior to supporting the CC Lab, Isabella led international business development at Smart Wires, a growth-stage energy hardware company focused on integrating large-scale renewable energy on transmission grids. Isabella also worked as a management consultant at Dalberg Advisors, where she supported international organizations on complex climate, agriculture, and energy projects. Earlier, Isabella worked on climate finance at the World Bank and the World Resources Institute.
Isabella holds a Masters in Resource Economics and a Bachelors in Earth Systems from Stanford University.
