Colleen Flynn is a first-year Master of Environmental Management student at the Yale School of the Environment where she studies climate change science and policy, with a particular interest in climate solutions in the food system. Colleen’s current research work focuses on agricultural soil carbon credits. Before coming to YSE, Colleen worked for UNICEF’s Office of Innovation, where she helped launch a new climate change innovation portfolio. Prior to that, she spent several years working in strategy consulting where she supported public sector clients in DC and New York. Colleen graduated from Yale College in 2016 with a degree in Political Science and is originally from the Philadelphia area. In her free time, Colleen enjoys running around East Rock and is forever cooking, eating, or thinking about food.
