Sebastian Serra is an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Carbon Containment Lab. He was most recently a Principal at Riverstone Holdings, an energy and decarbonization focused private equity fund. Sebastian led investments in renewable energy and transport and was on the Investment Committee of Riverstone’s Mexico fund. Before Riverstone, Sebastian worked at Yale’s Investment Office, where he worked on investing Yale University’s endowment, with a particular focus on the natural resources portfolio.
Sebastian graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Economics and received his M.B.A from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where he was a Siebel Scholar and an Arjay Miller Scholar. He also holds a MPA-ID degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
